The name Sestré is inspired by the Slavic word sestre, meaning sisters. Across languages including Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian, Czech, and Slovenian, the word represents more than family, it embodies connection, support, loyalty, and belonging
We chose the name Sestr because this brand was built on the strength of the women around us. The sisters, mothers, daughters, friends, mentors, and clients who have inspired, encouraged, and shaped our journey from the very beginning.
Sestré is a celebration of female connection, of women lifting one another up, sharing knowledge, supporting growth, and creating confidence through their craft. What started as a vision has been brought to life through the encouragement of an incredible community of women who continue to inspire us every day.
